DPI insurance brokers is seeking an experienced New Business Account Executive to handle commercial insurance enquiries. This role will appeal to a career focused candidate who is keen to join an expanding company that can offer excellent career opportunities. You’ll need commercial insurance experience, strong customer relationship building skills and the drive to develop new business and close sales.

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Salary £30,000 – Realistic OTE £40,000 – £45,000

Job Requirements

  • Convert warm qualified leads into sales (No cold calling)
  • Prepare client information and present to insurers
  • Hit sales and income targets
  • Work within FCA rules and guidelines and follow the company’s compliance policies
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience of Commercial Insurance is essential
  • A proven sales background
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Good decision making and analytical problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and commercially aware
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience with the Acturis system desirable, but not essential

The role is predominately internal with occasional client visits if required.
